privacy notice: Pink Prison stats
1. who runs this
ExDeDe, through the contact form.
2. what is collected
Public server chat and server broadcasts, tab list names and UUIDs, and the public hover stats on chat names. Name-to-UUID lookups from Mojang. Collected since , updated continuously (last update ).
3. what is not collected
Discord handles from hover cards, and players' IP addresses. Visitors' IP addresses are used in memory for rate limiting. Like the rest of exdede.xyz, the web server also keeps its normal access log (which includes IP addresses) for 14 days and then deletes it automatically; see the site privacy page.

The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): public statistics and transparency about events the server itself announces publicly. This is balanced against what players expect on a public game server. Safeguards: private messages are not collected, emails, phone numbers and street addresses are hidden, chat pages are not indexed, there are rate limits and no bulk download, and you can ask for removal. 6. where the data comes from
The data comes from the Pink Prison server's public chat, not from you directly. This page is the notice required by Art. 14 GDPR; we rely on Art. 14(5)(b) because contacting every player individually is not possible.
7. how long it is kept
- Published stats stay while the site runs.
- The private raw logs are kept as the source for rebuilding the stats.
- Private nightly backups of the raw logs are kept for about a week and then deleted.
- The published stats and the private raw logs are reviewed once a year. The next review is on 12 Oct 2027.
- If you ask for removal, your data is hidden from the site after the next rebuild. It stays in the private raw logs so the removal survives rebuilds.
8. your rights
You can ask for access (a copy of your data), objection and removal, rectification, or restriction. Use the contact form and include your Minecraft name.
To check the request is yours, you get a code like PP-XXXXXX to say in public chat on Pink Prison within 72 hours. If you cannot do that, the owner decides case by case.
You can also complain to the Polish authority, UODO (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl), or to your local data protection authority.
9. automatic protections
Email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses in chat are hidden. Chat pages are not indexed by search engines. There are rate limits and no bulk download.
How the hiding works
Before a chat message is published here, three fixed text patterns are checked. Nothing else is done to it: no AI, no lookups, no profiling.
- Email address: anything shaped like name@domain.com.
- Phone number: 7 or more digits written with spaces, dashes, dots or brackets between them, like +48 600 123 456 or 555-123-4567. Dates, year ranges (2025-2026), decimal numbers and game amounts like 5,000,000 are left alone.
- Street address: a house number followed by one to three capitalised words and Street, Road, Avenue, Lane, Drive and similar, or the Polish form "ul. Name 12".
The match is replaced with [redacted] on this site. The private raw logs keep the original line. The patterns can miss things written in other ways, and names or other details are not detected; if something about you shows up, use the contact form.
